Two weddings a decade apart but Awesome Entertainment remembered

Another weekend, another wedding and another COOL COUPLE: Kim and Dale! They have a great relationship which includes lots of jokes and laughter. Dale was the only groom-to-be in my history to be joking as various bridal party members came up the aisle! DJ Mike and I monitored the lapel microphones during the ceremony which was held at Sierra Lakes Golf Course. The Catering Director, Becky, was an absolute delight and the facilities were beautiful.

Their friends and family were very outgoing and responsive throughout the evening.

Kimberly and Dale went all out for their reception with beautiful decorations, uplights, their monogram lit on the dancefloor and even a Classic Candy Buffet hosted by owner, Judy Pomykata. Judy was keeping the jars filled all night long. She was so good that Kim's mom approached me to make an announcement that candy was available to enjoy with their Filet Mignon. What she did not realize is half the candy was already gone but Judy made the display look like new all night long. It was very elegantly lit and Judy was very good-natured and professional.

Kim and Dale chose Then - Brad Paisley as their first dance song and entered the room to Computer Love - Zapp because they met on match.com! I had fun preparing and presenting their love story.

I booked the wedding because of their Bridesmaid: Misty and her husband, Groomsman: Michael. Misty and Michael had decided to hire Al Lampkin who was occasionally contracting with Awesome Entertainment back in 1999. They enjoyed Al so much that when it was time for their friends to get married they told them to look no further than Awesome! Al is back in Utah and is now focusing on comedy magic so I ended up being hired. It was quite an honor.

Al Lampkin is a An award-winning magician and an American Disc Jockey Awards "Hall of Famer". He is an acclaimed Magic Castle performer and he is available for private events in the Salt Lake City, Las Vegas and Los Angeles areas. Visit his website at:
Al Lampkin Magic.

I asked Al to saw himself in half for the blog and amazingly... He pulled it off!
